Jonathan Coachman was named Mr. McMahon's new Executive Assistant on the May 29 RAW. It was the first time anyone had seen Coachman in nearly six weeks, as he disappeared after being attacked by Viscera on the April 17 RAW from London. He immediately thrust himself into the new role, making a match between Edge and Big Show to determine the No. 1 Contender for the WWE Championship.

In April 2006, however, Coachman disappeared. He was attacked by Viscera on the April 17 RAW in London, and announced on WWE.com Unlimited that he was leaving the building. He wasn't seen again for six weeks, leaving his duties on RAW and HEAT behind until resurfacing as Mr. McMahon's new Executive Assistant on Memorial Day 2006.
