Charlie Haas made his shocking return to WWE on April 17, 2006 when he arrived on the scene at RAW, Rob Van Dam got to pick a mystery opponent for Shelton Benjamin. The person he picked was none other than Shelton’s former tag team partner Charlie Haas. The returning Haas was fired up for the match and stunned Benjamin with a rollup for the victory. The former WWE Tag Team Champion is back, and he made an impact instantaneously.

In 2004, Shelton Benjamin was drafted to RAW, effectively breaking up the World's Greatest Tag Team. The move forced Haas to look elsewhere for a partner.
